Master Point

Introduction

Master Point has been introduced  since the launching of Solo Tournament. As the Master Point is closely related to master title, this document is going to elaborate in detail about the issue.

Gaining of Master Point

For each tournament completed, some of Master Point will be given. When Master Points are accumulated to a certain amount, the title shown by individual players will be changed from standard titles to master titles. The current tournament with Master Points are Monthly Duplicate, Weekly Solo Tournament, Daily Solo Tournament, Solo Challenge and Double Dummy Race. We will introduce more tournament type in the future for our members.

Aging of Master Point

Started from 2014, in each year end, we will roll forward a player's accumulated Master Points to the next year. To encourage continue participation, the following aging policy will be adopted in the roll forward process:-

1) If a player did not receive any Master Points within the year, we will deduct 50% of the total points (a minimum of 100 Master Points);
2) For other players, 10% of the total points will be deducted (a minimum of 10 Master Points and a maximum 500 Master Points).

Master Title

When Masters Points have reached certain level. Master title will be given. The following table shows the requirements of obtaining a master title.

The title will be reviewed monthly. It will not be changed until the next monthly update process. We reserve the right to change the master points threshold as well as the additional requirements.
